The Bigger Picture

Here's another photo from Peter Burton, one of those quick snaps that later reveals the bigger picture not noticed at the time of taking. It would seem that these visitors to the Louvre were so enchanted by David's painting that they were eager to be a part of it. Amazing what people will do just to escape the rigours of modern living; and the rellies, eh Pete? I wonder if the guy just right of centre knows that mobile phone coverage wasn't the greatest in 19th Century France?
